He Is Defeated!
I’ve finished my reread of Memory, Sorrow and Thorn, and as I predicted: as soon as the Storm King was defeated, spring arrived. In the two days since I’ve finished reading, I’ve been able to work in just a T-shirt for a few hours in the afternoon (just one layer of clothes – and a few days ago, I was still wearing as many as four!), the sun is shining from a brilliantly blue sky and bumblebees and honeybees are buzzing around the pansies and primroses that fill the tables in front of the shop.
So now, I have time for blogging again. Hooray!

Yay! I’m still too lazy on the other hand. Also the 2 feet of snow on the ground is really really discouraging.
I kind of wish we would ever get as much as 2 feet of snow. Not in March, though (or any time I have to work. December or January would be fine.)
It would be a lot more fun if part of my work didn’t involve shoveling it
Luckily I managed to avoid that this year… partly because it didn’t snow much, and partly because my boss broke the second snow shovel, which I would normally use.
Our Storm King has yet to be defeated by a sword-baring sun….. the weather here is still dark and gloomy. So thank you for cheering up my moring with your sunny pansies and “one T-Shirt instead of four” optimism
oops, unfortunate typo: bearing, not baring…..
Thanks! I’ll try to post more sunny pictures soon, now that I have time to blog again!
