Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day – August 2011

August 16, 2011

Late this time – too much travelling-all-over-the-place going on here!

Not much to show, either. Some of the Ipomoea purpurea  morning glories have finished up, and I’ve cut them back, but the I. tricolor are just really taking off:

and the tomatoes are always blooming like crazy.

I’ve spotted the first flowers on the ‘Blauhilde’ beans, so maybe I’ll get more than one bean this year after all.

The bog sage seems to have a tradition of starting to bloom when I come back from Castlefest:

The red Abutilon is looking very happy, despite some red spider mites that have migrated over from the pineapple sage:

And the Ceropegia sandersonii is going crazy as always – I haven’t posted pics in a while, I think, but this is how it always looks:

Glad I’m not the only late GBBDer, and I love your Ipomoea! What a fabulous colour that is…

That blue Morning Glory is a stunner…such charming plants!

I love the colour, and I love climbing plants, so it’s doubly great!
