Little Steps, part 4: Quince

A quince tree growing in the park near the community garden.

I always thought it was one of the fruit trees planted by the town, but while I was taking pictures, the owner of the tree (who also owns the garden behind the hedge) came out and started talking to me, about how great quinces are and how people steal his fruit (um, yeah, then maybe don’t plant your tree in a public space?), and I was tired and grumpy from a long day at work and lots of customers, and didn’t want to talk, but could not find a polite way to make him go away.
