School Trip

October 9, 2016

At the end of the week-long Indoor Greening class, we visited a retirement home that was our main teacher’s client, to get a look at planters of a variety of ages (from freshly planted to 40 years old, planted by the teacher’s grandfather), the maintainance work that needs to be done, and the special challenges that such a location provides (like people emptying their catheter bags into the planter).

(And they have even more mealybugs as my plants, and even less hope of ever getting rid of them. This makes me feel slightly better.)
